  • Intertherm Provides Money Saving, High-efficiency Heat In A Quiet Unit

Intertherm leads the way in conserving energy and lowering heating bills with the M1 Series high-efficiency gas furnaces for manufactured housing.

The design and combustion systems, along with other improvements, makes it possible for Intertherm to significantly increase the AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) ratings of our traditionally high-quality furnaces. They've also been made to run quietly and are easier to install.

This series of furnaces achieves a minimum 75 AFUE efficiency. The increased efficiency translates to a more comfortable home and smaller utility bills. This unit also has a highly reliable, yet simple to maintain, low-Btuh pilot light, and an optional electric ignition system which further increases the furnace's efficiency rating to 80 AFUE.

Either unit is especially designed for all sizes of manufactured homes. Whichever you choose, you're getting a furnace with high efficiency, high reliability, and low maintenance.

  • Easy To Maintain And Convert

Intertherm engineered this furnace for ease of installation, as well as efficiency. It will conveniently fit a small alcove or closet space. A choice of capacities and two cabinet heights tailor the furnace to either a small single-section or large multiple-section manufactured or modular home.

Of course, the furnace will accommodate either NAT or LP fuel. All you need is a simple conversion of only the main burner orifice (pilot orifice requires no conversion) and the convertible, built-in gas pressure regulator.

Intertherm combines high technology and common sense to produce the most practical and efficient gas furnaces in the manufactured and modular home industry. As energy becomes more precious and homeowners more demanding, rely on Intertherm to lead the way with efficient, high performing products you desire.

Other Unique Features Make It Even Better

  • Telescoping Flue
With this system, flue gases and combustion air are kept separate. The easily installed telescopic flue is adjustable for a variety of roof configurations.

  • Duct Connector
This versatile, easy-to-install connector seals the bottom of the furnace to the home's duct work. Designed to fit between 16" O.C. floor joists, the connector has a removable filler plate that enables it to expand for wider floor ducts, improving air flow.

  • The 80 AFUE Extra High-efficiency Gas Furnace

If you want even more operating efficiency, Intertherm has developed the MlM Series model with AFUE ratings of 80. This exceptional furnace has all of the outstanding features of our other high efficiency unit, plus innovative combustion technology.

The extra high efficiency furnace uses an advanced solid state ignition control to precisely monitor the entire ignition cycle, automatically. The control responds to a call for heat and then activates a technologically superior "hot-surface" ignitor to light the burner. The ignitor, which is made from silicon carbide, heats to 2500 degrees F for dependable lighting. This system eliminates the constantly burning pilot light, which saves fuel.

Our unique combustion air blower increases efficiency. The blower precisely motors just the right amount of air to the burner for extra high combustion efficiency and additional fuel savings.

Creating An Environment That Looks And Feels Right

The warmth of a home is not just measured in degrees, appearance is also important. That's why the new line of Coleman gas furnaces is appealing in form and function. That's what you should expect from a name that stands for real value - Coleman.

Our design engineers started with a clean sheet of paper for the Coleman furnace line. The result is a gas furnace that feels right in any home.

It's a unique combination of Coleman features that make our gas furnaces the perfect complement in a wide range of installations - first and foremost manufactured housing and modular dwellings needing compact sealed-combustion gas furnace design.

Enjoying The Assurance Of Reliable Function

Behind the appealing exterior design, the coleman gas furnace incorporates solid engineering that ensures reliable, economical operation year after year.

It starts with a proven sealed-combustion, downflow gas furnace design. Sealed combustion safely draws combustion air from outside to minimize noise and drafts while increasing operating efficiency.

The heart of the system is a long-life, straight-tubular heat exchanger. Unlike other heat exchangers based on highly stressed deep-drawn drum construction, the Coleman furnace's heat exchanger is a corrosion-resistant, aluminized steel "wrap-around" drum using round-corner construction. The result is superior resistance to stress and more evenly distributed heat.

An Inside Look Shows Other Important Features

As a valuable added feature, the Coleman furnace is air-conditioner ready. Select models can handle 3 to 4 tons of cooling - 5 tons with an optional blower. The built-in coil cabinet is designed and matched to work with Coleman heat pumps and air conditioners for easy installation and efficient operation.

Add it all up, and you'll find there's only one gas furnace that has the right combination of values - the Coleman gas furnace line.
