Unlike other heat exchangers based on highly stressed deep-drawn drum construction, the Coleman furnace's heat exchanger is a corrosion-resistant, aluminized steel "wrap-around" drum using round-corner construction. The result is superior resistance to stress and more evenly distributed heat.
